40days : Tell Your Story

In june 2004, the Lord called me to full time ministry. I asked him what he wanted me to do to start and he said, to fast for 40 days. Spiritually, I was OK with the idea but not mentally nor physically. When your body goes without food for an extended period of time, it begins to eat itself, mostly protein. I did not have a lot of muscle to support an extended fast, so I got some creatine and started to lift weights to beef up, and I started to prepare my mind also. Six months later, I was ready. I started the fast on the 19th of Dec, 2004 and ended on the 29th of Jan, 2005. My only intake was distilled water. Jesus was with me the whole time. I know that God lives because I am alive and well today, actually better than I was before the fast.
