Prompted to fast for 30 days starting Jan 1 my husband suggested I try for 40 days since its only 10 days more. Starting this fast was the hardest one to date. I am now on day 23 of my 40 days; I would like prayer, as the temptations to eat are still strong with my husband and kids eating all the foods I love and with taking them out to eat from time to time.
