Hello everybody, we have passed the mid point. Thank God for helping us day after day. Let’s keep at it! You have inspired me to share verses with people, you included!
So just thought I’d share with you fragments of things I’ve read recently…
“R.A. Torrey once said:The reason why many fail in battle is because they wait until the hour of battle. The reason why others succeed is because they have gained their victory on their knees long before the battle came...”
Still in the same vein… “Change on earthly level often requires travail or hard work in prayer that produces change in the spirit realm first.” And the reading attached to this was Matthew 17:20-21, which emphasizes that there are some things require prayer and fasting.
And to end, let me leave us with a precious portion in Zechariah 4. From the Amplified version…
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts.
7For who are you, O great mountain [of human obstacles]? Before Zerubbabel [who with Joshua had led the return of the exiles from Babylon and was undertaking the rebuilding of the temple, before him] you shall become a plain [a mere [a]molehill]!
